Bono is an activist!

Paul David Hewson, better known as Bono is the lead singer of rock band U2. 

Bono is known for doing a lot of charity work. He uses his celebrity to fight for social justice worldwide: to end hunger, poverty and disease, especially in Africa. For this, he was named Time Person of the Year in 2005 and has even been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
